Loulou
OUR MASCOT
Loulou, who passed away on January 8, 2024 at the age of 17, was Alex's little guardian angel and his inspiration to create first House of Dogs, then Chez Loulou and finally SOS Deuil Animal.
Loulou was a border collie mix, adopted from the SPA by Alex when he was two years old. Loulou was incredibly intelligent and had an extraordinary sensitivity.
All those who knew him will also remember his true kindness, his loyalty and his contagious joy of life.
Always at Alex's side, Loulou lived a life rich in adventures, travels, encounters and now rests in peace in our hearts.

Alex
OUR MANAGER
Alex grew up in the South of France where she was continuing her studies when she decided to dedicate herself to her career in the horse world in order to live her passion while being alongside Loulou and her mare Poppy on a daily basis. After exploring almost all facets of the equestrian industry for fifteen years, living and working in several countries, Alex decided to start a new chapter by opening a doggy daycare after discovering the profession upon her arrival in Luxembourg. House of Dogs was born, and then became Chez Loulou. Still in tribute to Loulou, Alex has now decided to create a non-profit organization dedicated to supporting people going through the steps of animal mourning. Finally, Alex ensures the smooth running of Chez Loulou every day and takes care of each animal as if it were her own.
