FAQ

Daycare & Boarding

Can we visit the premises?

Yes, once you have registered on our waiting list, we will contact you as soon as a space becomes available to arrange an appointment for you and your dog to visit our home.
Visits are reserved for dogs registered on our waiting list who meet all the admission conditions, note that we will not be able to accommodate you if, for example, your dog is still missing the kennel cough vaccination.

What are the steps to register my dog?

If your dog meets all the admission requirements, you can register it on our waiting list. As soon as a place is available, we will contact you to organize a first appointment with you and your dog.
The purpose of this appointment is to allow you to visit the premises and determine whether your dog will be able to integrate into the group and our way of operating.
If the visit is conclusive, we will then organize a first trial day in daycare. You will then receive all the documents to complete and return to us before this first day.
And finally, if the trial day goes well, your dog's registration will be officially confirmed.

What kind of food can we bring?

We ask you to bring your dog's usual food to avoid any problems related to a change in diet. One exception however, we do NOT accept ANY food containing horse meat, we ask you to respect our choice and not to bring this type of food to our home. Finally, we accept kibble, pâtés, and all food already cooked or to be cooked, to be kept in the fridge or freezer.

Can we bring a toy, blanket or bed?

Yes, all personal items are welcome however please keep in mind that we are not a daycare and boarding facility with cages, so other dogs will also have access to these items.
While we have not had any issues of this type so far, we would like to warn you of the risk that these items could be damaged or cause tension in the group.
In such cases, these items will be removed and set aside.

Will our dog be left alone during the day or at night?

Your dog will be with us 24 hours a day. And exceptionally, we may be absent during the day for a maximum of one to two hours in the case of an appointment or an errand to run. In this case, the dogs will stay together at home with music or a film and our cameras installed in the house will allow us to remotely ensure that everything is going well during our absence.

What is the schedule for a typical day?

For dogs in boarding kennels, the day begins around 6:00 a.m., they go out into the garden or for a walk in summer.
Around 7:00 am, the dogs in daycare start arriving, everyone says hello, some dogs go back to bed, others go to play in the garden.
We then go for a walk around 9:00 am once all the dogs have arrived.
Around 10:00 a.m. it is time for the first meal, the dogs eat in turns, separated from the others, in the garden (summer) or living room (winter) so that everyone can eat in peace and at their own pace.
After the meal and until 2:00 p.m., it is a quiet period where the dogs will take a nap inside or outside depending on the season and their preference.
Around 3:00 p.m. we all set off for a walk again.
Between 4:00 p.m. and 7:00 p.m., the dogs in daycare begin to go home, the dogs that remain take the opportunity to play, cuddle, be brushed or rest according to their preference.
At 7:00 p.m., the daycare closes and we leave for the last walk of the day with the boarding dogs.
Around 8:00 pm it is time for the evening meal. After the meal, the dogs can still go out into the garden if they wish until around 10:00 pm. Then it is time to go to bed, the dogs settle into the bed of their choice on the ground floor and the lights are turned off until the next day at 6:00 am.
Finally, during the night, we are upstairs always ready to intervene in case of a problem.
